Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at National Cheng Kung University, and former Associate Vice President for International Affairs. His research covers combustion science and heat transfer, micro power and micro electric propulsion systems, extending to bioenergy utilization, combined heat and power, clean fossil-fuel combustion technology, and laser diagnostics. He has received the Wu Ta-Yu Memorial Award and an Outstanding Young Scholar grant, among other honors.
