Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University, where he leads the Hyperspectral Intelligent Computing Lab. His research spans hyperspectral/multispectral image analysis, satellite remote sensing, blind signal processing, convex optimization, and machine learning (including deep learning and quantum machine learning), extending to computer vision, biomedical imaging, and 5G/6G communications. He has published in Nature Communications and leading IEEE journals, and received the Youth Medal, an Outstanding Young Scholar award, and the IEEE GRSS Best Dissertation Award, among other honors.
